So.

So, I guess I've come to be pretty bored of drawing horses. But I really feel like a lot of my watchers are watching me for my equines. I feel like I really want to begin learning human anatomy and drawing more...I guess you could say anime based art. I have always loved Hayao Miyazaki, and I've always wanted to draw beautiful characters just like him. My dream is to live in Japan some day, and work as an artist, perhaps even animator there.

But lately, I haven't been drawing lately. Stupid moving to Australia, etc. Another reason is I don't really want to draw horses anymore, but I don't feel as if my people are up to scratch, or of anyone really wants to see my people. Anime. I dunno, it a bit of a dirty word these days on dA.

Horses are fairly easy to me. So I'm proposing this:

I will draw a total of 25 horses, and then my artwork will move to a different style and I'll be trying different areas.

So at the end of this challenge, I may be making a new account or something.

Haha, I don't think I even have 25 pictures in my gallery.

So there you go. Anyway. Yup. 25 horses. Starting count now.

Hours and hours. Working on a picture I was very fond of and rather proud of. I was almost flippin' done when, oh look, the computer I was using found a very very convenient time to freakin' crash.

yes, crash.

it died on me. It's taunting me. For a whole 4 seconds I can look at the file that I worked so hard on these past days, and then the computer totally blows and now the chances of me saving the file are slim to none. I seriously like, just want to cry right now.

I thought digital art was going to be a major plus in my life. No more expensive art material costs, etc. Now that I know better-once your computer crashes, your art is gone.

I might have to use a flash USB drive from now on. I can't believe this is happening. Damn you stupid computers.

So far...

Well. It's a little different from America, but sometimes I feel like I'm in America here.It's definitely a lot hotter. From what I've heard, Wisconsin has gotten heaps and heaps of snow. I do like the weather now though, it's turning into autumm-ish.
Let's see. I think I"m getting a little bit of an accent after talking to Aussies all day. The school day starts pretty late-from 9:15-3:20. And they have morning tea, which is like a 35 minute break, and a one hour lunch. Class is never strictly on time because the campus is so big.

So things are going okay. My parents are having a bit of an arguement. Don't know really what to say about it, but hopefully it'll blow over soon.

Oh, and I just killed 6 mosquitos in the past 20 minutes. Bitten four times.

Yes. My colored pencils, my dearly beloveds are in a scrawny cardboard box shipped off to Australia. And I have no scanner. And I miss them.

Our move is official and has been in progress since the 7th. I'm stuck in Taiwan until the 21st, then I'm off to Brisbane and then school starts on the 28th.

So yes, I have been drawing, though I can't really do too much without my colored pencils and/or my scanner. Unless you guys want some blurrish black and white linearts...which I can't promise I won't upload.

So I guess I'll apologize for the severe stop in art, but at the moment, there's nothing much I can do.
